Lauren Peek is a Partner at Compensation Advisory Partners LLC (CAP) in New York. She has over 20 years of experience in advising compensation committees and senior management. She assists companies in developing an executive compensation design that supports the company’s strategic objectives, talent management goals and aligns pay with performance. Additionally, Lauren advises companies on board of director compensation, broader employee salary structure design and proxy disclosure and corporate governance-related issues.
She provides compensation consulting services to public and privately-held companies and non-profit organizations. Lauren works across industries and has significant experience with companies in the biotech/pharmaceutical, consumer products, retail, manufacturing and healthcare industries.
Lauren is a regular speaker at New Jersey Compensation Association, the New York chapter of the National Association Stock Plan Professionals, the Knowledge Group and Equilar. She has been quoted by and had work featured in leading publications such as Agenda, Fortune, New York Newsday and Harvard Law Forum on Corporate Governance.
Prior to joining CAP, Lauren worked at Mercer in its Human Capital group focusing on executive compensation consulting. She has also worked in corporate compensation at Capital One.
Lauren has a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in Human Resources from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with honors, from Boston University.
